In the 31 hours or so, give or take a few minutes here and there, since he was selected tenth overall in the 2011 MLS Draft, new Sporting KC forward CJ Sapong has done a pair or quality, entertaining radio interviews.
First, a couple hours after his selection, he went on "Between The Lines" on 810 WHB with Kevin Keitzman. As someone who self-admittedly doesn't know soccer, Keitzman takes a good interview of CJ here. You can find the podcasted interview right here for your listening pleasure.
Also, on Friday afternoon, CJ led off the 3 p.m. hour, a pretty nice radio time slot, of Nick Wright's show "What's Right" on 610 Sports Radio. Another radio guy who self-admittedly doesn't watch a ton of soccer, Nick takes another good interview of CJ, focusing more on the personal side of CJ and his family's Ghanaian heritage. You can find that podcasted interview right here, also for your sweet listening pleasure.
