Sporting Kansas City players Luke Sassano and Soony Saad surprised Sporting fan Sydney Manning when they brought out her order at Pandolfi's Deli. Manning had won a twitter trivia contest earlier, and her prize was a free "Sassano Sandwich." At least, that was part of the prize she knew about. The part she DIDN'T know about was having the chance to meet, and eat lunch with Sassano, and Saad. I always enjoy when professional athletes take part in stuff like this. I have to say I think the Sporting KC players and organization deserve special praise, as they have been extremely open and generous with their fans in a number of ways, whether it's been doing something like this, or giving away free Cauldron tickets over the course of the season. Huge credit must also be given to FreshID and Pandolfi's Deli for making this particular event happen. Great stuff!
