From a Sporting KC perspective, this means Teal Bunbury's college coach Caleb Porter is the U-23 coach for next years Olympic games. If Bunbury's form impresses Klinsmann, this may not matter given the lack of depth at striker, but I see Bunbury making a trip to London next summer either way. While some credit goes to Ken Lolla for building the current Akron program, Caleb Porter has continued the program's success leading them to the NCAA Tournament every year he's coached there, losing in the final in 2009 and winning the championship in 2010. Tab Ramos is the creative CAM the US has missed (save perhaps the Dempsey of the last few games) and his coaching will be more interesting to follow, due to a small body of work.
