Honduran international out 2-4 weeks with right anterior medial ankle sprain.
Sporting Kansas City announced today that star midfielder Roger Espinoza would miss the rest of the regular season with a right ankle sprain. The Honduran international had been injured in the club's 1-1 draw against Columbus on Sunday afternoon in a play involving Andy Gruenebaum, the Crew's goalkeeper and a Kansas City native. With the injury, Oriol Rosell or Paolo Nagamura seem the most likely replacement for the center mid. Sporting KC have the New York Red Bulls and the Philadelphia Union left on their schedule, Roger could have been very valuable against New York's fast paced midfield.
