To go a long with Bunbury's call up to the USA U-23 Olympic Qualifying squad some other news in the way of Sporting Kansas City internationals was released today as Honduras national coach Luis Ferndando Suarez released his 18 man squad ahead of their friendly against Ecuador on February the 29th. It came as no surprise to see Roger Espinoza on the list along with other popular Honduras players such as Maynor Figueroa and Wilson Palacios, both from the English Premier League.
However, popular MLS player Andy Najar and former MLS player Carlo Costly were missing. The latter of the two of course scored the goal that won the Eastern Conference Final for the Houston Dynamo who out-played a cocky Sporting KC side. Roger Espinoza will miss some time with Sporting KC who will be in Florida for their pre-season from February 20th - March 4th.
