Sporting Kansas City goalkeeper and team captain, Jimmy Nielsen, has received his green card, thus freeing up another international roster slot for Kansas City.
Nielsen tweeted the following earlier today:
"Got my green card in the mail today. I am NEVER EVER leaving Kansas City, you are STUCK with me (sorry)! #VeryHappy"
With both Nielsen and Julio Cesar receiving their green cards recently, Sporting Kansas City currently have two international roster slots available.
The following players are currently occupying international roster slots on Kansas City's roster: Neven Markovic, Oriol Rosell, Aurelien Collin, Peterson Joseph, and Korede Aiyegbusi.
